Mapen is an app created for everyone who wants to quickly and conveniently find interesting events in their city – and experience them together with others! Our mission is to simplify the process of planning outings and connect people with similar interests. With Mapen, you can not only find out what’s going on in your area, but also easily join events – solo, with friends or meeting new people.
We have created an app that we ourselves lacked – a single place to find events and build new friendships. There’s something for everyone on Mapen – whether you just want to check out what’s going on, arrange to go out with friends, or meet new people with similar passions.

How does the application work?
The app allows you to discover events in your area, join groups of people with similar interests, create your own “packs” and build relationships with other event attendees.
How to add an event to favorites?
Next to each event you will find a heart icon – click it to save the event to your favorites list and have it always at hand.
What is a “pack”?
“Pack” is a group of users who go together to an event. You can join an existing pack or create your own and invite friends or new people.
Do I need to know the people in the package to join it?
No! You can join open packs of other users who share your interests – a great way to meet someone new.
How does the communicator in the package work?
Each pack has its own chat room, where you can exchange information, arrange details and plan to participate in the event together.
How do I add someone as a friend?
Just search for a user’s profile and click “Add to friends.” After accepting the invitation, you can more easily contact each other and plan outings together.
Is the application free?
Yes, all basic functions – viewing events, joining packs, communication – are completely free.
Can I create my own events?
At this point, we are focusing on connecting people around existing events, but a feature to create your own events is in the plans!
What happens if I change my mind and don't want to go to the event?
Nothing happens! Simply remove the event from your favorites or leave the package – there are no consequences or fees.
Can I set the package as private so that only my friends join?
Yes, you can set the package as private – then only the people you invite will join.
